Dr John Kosbau

John Kosbau

When I was four years old, I was diagnosed with borderline diabetes. The doctors told my parents they needed to start me on insulin. My parents decided to try different avenues first. I was taken to many different doctors and nutritionists, but my blood sugar levels continued to rise. A neighbor suggested going to his Doctor of Chiropractic. The doctor found misalignments in my mid back and adjusted me. Within two weeks my blood sugar levels dropped to normal.

When I was nine, I developed a severe neurological disorder. The doctors told my parents to take me out of school and put me on bed rest for one year. My parents installed a intercom from my bedroom to the classroom, so I could continue on with the fourth grade. I was taken to the Mayo Clinic and evaluated. The doctors told my parents there was nothing they could do for me and to continue with the bed rest. My parents remembered that chiropractic had helped before, so they took me to a chiropractor. He examined me and found vertebra in my back and neck that were misaligned. He began to adjust those areas and within one month the symptoms disappeared and I was able to go back to school. Chiropractic saved my life when all else had failed. After graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic with a Doctorate of Chiropactic degree. Dr. Kosbau and his wife, Dr. Laura, moved to California, where they taught at Palmer College of Chiropractic-West. Dr. Kosbau receive a Diplomat in Chiropractic Orthopedics after three years of intensive study. He continues to take a multitude of health related classes to make sure he offers the most up to date and best care available. ' I love our patients,' smiles Dr. Kosbau. 'It is so rewarding to see peoples lives change with chiropractic care. Taking away the pain, numbing, spasms and other health problems without the need for drugs or surgery.'
